Mrs. Carrasquillo joined the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group in October 2009. Her main practice areas include general corporate and commercial law, real estate and notarial law and commercial lending. Erika’s experience in real estate includes representing different developers in residential closings, representing Total Petroleum Puerto Rico Corp. in a sale and leaseback program, as well as engaging in general notarial and mortgage matters. She has also participated in numerous transactions involving the sale of commercial, residential and construction loan portfolios, as well as real estate owned properties portfolios for Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, Oriental Bank and Banco Santander.
Prior to joining the firm, she participated in PMA’s Summer Associate Program for two consecutive years. While completing her undergraduate degree in Finance at the Pennsylvania State University, she participated in summer internships with the Government Development Bank of Puerto Rico, PNC Bank in Pittsburgh and Banco Santander de Puerto Rico.
Erika is currently a member of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee.
