Mr. Santiago Cruz joined PMA’s Litigation Practice Group in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at a boutique law firm in London focused on the payments industry, and also served as a law clerk to Associate Justice Anabelle Rodríguez Rodríguez at the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico during the 2016-17 term. During his time at law school, Mr. Santiago Cruz participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C., served as a teaching assistant to Prof. Antonio García Padilla, and worked as a law clerk at a local boutique litigation firm. Mr. Santiago Cruz also participated in PMA’s Summer Associate Program.  

He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he graduated Magna cum Laude and obtained the Public Law Award and José Trías Monge Scholarship during the course of his studies. After completing his judicial clerkship, Mr. Santiago Cruz also obtained a master’s in law and finance from Queen Mary University of London’s Centre for Commercial Law Studies.
