Ms. de la Vega-Chaparro joined PMA’s Litigation Practice Group in 2018.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  During her final year of law school, Maria Cristina was a student lawyer for the University of Puerto Rico Legal Aid Clinic, specializing in criminal law. After receiving her J.D., she completed a Master in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, graduating Cum Laude.  Ms. de la Vega-Chaparro’s practice is focused on Litigation, Securities Litigation, Arbitration, and Environmental Law.

Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a contract attorney at a distinguished law firm in New Orleans, Louisiana.
