Ms. Abreu Acevedo joined PMA’s Litigation Practice Group in 2018. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time at law school, she served as a law clerk at the Puerto Rico Superior Court, was a student attorney for the Civil Litigation and Trial Practice Legal Aid Clinic of the University of Puerto Rico, and worked as a law clerk at a local boutique litigation firm. After receiving her J.D., Ms. Abreu-Acevedo was admitted to practice law, obtaining the second highest score on the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Bar Examination. In 2018, she obtained her Master of Laws degree from Columbia Law School in New York City, focusing on complex litigation and commercial law.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Abreu Acevedo worked as a Litigation Associate in another local firm and served as a Judicial Intern to Chief Judge Hon. Dora L. Irizarry at the United States District for Eastern District of New York.
