Janelis Rivera-García

Ms. Janelis Rivera-García joined PMA’s Tax Practice Group in 2023. Prior to joining PMA, Ms. Rivera-García worked in the Tax Division of a major public accounting firm in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she assisted clients in a variety of state and local tax compliance matters. She also worked at a San Juan law firm as a corporate attorney, where her practice concentrated on corporate and tax law.

Ms. Rivera-García academic background includes the achievement of the Certified Public Accountant license in 2016. She obtained her B.S.B.A in Accounting and Finance from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus, graduating magna cum laude. In 2022, Ms. Rivera-García received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, graduating magna cum laude.
