The Construction and Development Practice Team provides a full range of services to our clients with respect to all facets of development projects in Puerto Rico. With the support of the other practice teams of the Firm, we are able to assist our clients in connection with each of the different phases of a project, including real estate, land use, environmental, government entitlements, project finance, labor and employment, and dispute resolution. The members of the Construction and Development team also have vast experience working with the principal model forms commonly used in the construction industry, such as the forms prepared by the AIA, as well as in customizing acquisition, financing, construction and development agreements for clients facing unique challenges. From the acquisition and financing of the project site to contract negotiation and administration to project close-out and dispute resolution, the Construction and Development Practice Team works with the clients of the Firm to make each project a success. Our client base spans all major sectors, including commercial, industrial, hospitality and residential developers, construction lenders, construction companies, vendors, architects and engineers.
