Our attorneys in the Retail and Consumer Goods Practice Group advise retail customers in diverse aspects of the consumer affairs legal and regulatory scheme applicable to their business operations in the island, including compliance with the Department of Consumers Affairs (DACO for its Spanish acronym) Regulations.

We also assist our clients with handling DACO’s compliance inspections and adjudicative proceedings, internal customer claims, marketing matters, warranties, service plans, gift cards, electronic surveillance, and commercial signage, among other distinctive issues of this industry.
