María Fernández Bernal

Ms. Fernández Bernal joined the firm’s Corporate Practice Group in 2019. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time in law school, she completed a judicial internship at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, worked as a research assistant for the Academia Puertorriqueña de Legislación y Jurisprudencia, and served as Executive Content Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Business Law Journal Volume X. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Fernández Bernal worked as Public Policy Analyst at the Senate of Puerto Rico and as Deputy Advisor at the Office of the Governor of Puerto Rico.
